Here is a list of all of our future events! This will be updated as events are added and the dates for the events pass! Please take a look.

September

• 11th - Last Session for Dog Obedience Day 1 starts 6-7pm at Hammond Park.
• 18th- Last Session for Dog Obedience Day 2 6-7pm at Hammond Park
• 25th - Last Session for Dog Obedience Day 3 6-7pm at Hammond Park
• 29th - Dog House Build/Giveaway! 9am-1pm Volunteers will be building Dog Houses for low/fixed income individuals or families. Please call the Humane Society office 620-342-4477 to reserve your dog house.

October

• 4-5th - Safari Edventure at David Traylor Zoo. We will be there between 10am - 2pm. We will be educating kids in the community in the from 1st grade to 4th grade. We will be teaching them about how to care for their pets, the importance of spay/neuter, and what is an animal shelter. We hope to see you there!
• 20th - Halloween 5K and Costume Contest. Registration starts at 9am, with the 5K starting at 10am. Costume judging will start at 9:30am and prizes will be awarded after the race! Please see our event page on Facebook for information to Pre-register. 1st 25 people to register will receive a free t-shirt!
• 20th - Oktobeardfest starts at 6pm! Beard Team Kansas is hosting their 6th annual Beard and Moustache competition, this year they are holding the event to raise money for Humane Society of the Flint Hills! It's $20 to compete and $5 to watch the competition. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, vendors, and live music! This is sure to be a blast, please consider attending!
